YourScam.org is a non-commercial public utility dedicated to creating a permanent, searchable record of digital fraud. We are the Library of Wrong — a forensic archive of the technical DNA behind online scams, built to protect the vulnerable and assist law enforcement.

🎯 WHY WE EXIST

The current digital safety market is broken. Most fraud reporting sites fall into three categories: ad-ridden SEO farms, abandoned repositories, or paywalled “protection” services that monetise the fear of the vulnerable.

YourScam.org exists to provide a free, open-access alternative. We index the technical markers — fraudulent URLs, deceptive scripts, malicious IPs, crypto wallets, and bank handles — and we keep that record permanent and public. Once a scam is verified, it is etched into the Library of Wrong so it can never be used again.

A permanent forensic archive of exposed scam operations. Each entry is dissected, documented, and buried for good — capturing the technical DNA (URLs, IPs, IBANs, sort codes, crypto wallets, phone numbers) so these scams can be identified if they resurface.

👤 THE HUMAN ORIGIN

YourScam.org was founded by Sean Sewell — not a career academic or Silicon Valley developer, but a working-class person who knows what it’s like to work for every penny, and how devastating it is when those pennies are stolen by someone hiding behind a keyboard.

This project was born from a “glitch in the matrix” moment: discovering how easily a single unverified sentence could clear a fraud flag on a major search engine. If a legitimate user can do that, a professional scammer can do the same. The current gatekeepers are overwhelmed and their systems are dangerously easy to game.

YourScam.org exists because the system relies on trust that hasn’t been earned. We are building the forensic ledger that actually looks at the Technical DNA and refuses to look away.

📜 OUR PRINCIPLES

  • Evidence Must Be Preserved — The current cycle of “report and delete” on social media destroys forensic trails. We archive the technical DNA of scams to ensure evidence is not lost.
  • Non-Commercial by Design — We do not monetise victim data, sell leads, or host advertising. The data exists for public safety and academic research only.
  • The Right to Challenge — Every entry is subject to a formal Notice and Dispute process. We provide a clear appeal framework for any entity to present material new evidence.
  • The Mirror Test — We operate with the integrity required to look ourselves in the mirror. Our goal is not personal gain or vigilante justice, but the creation of a high-authority archive that serves the public interest.
